It really, truly, never ceases to amaze me the complete and utter dumd-fuck-ed-ness of the AFA (American "Family" Association) and their "christian" buddies.  Their latest stunt?  Why, what else but boycotting McDonald's!

No, a sane person would ask "Wha... umm... hunh?" at this point, and being sane people (seeing as how you're reading this blog), I have to assume you're asking this very question.  You see, Richard Ellis, who serves as the Vice President of Communications for McDee's, was recently appointed to serve on the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

That's it.  That's the totality of the reason the crazies of christian world need to cause a ruckus.  One executive of the company decides to also serve on a pro-gay organization's board, and the AFA is out screaming foul.

Well, good job there AFA.  I sincerely appreciate all the hard work you do to destroy your own image.   It saves the rest of us alot of work.
